面试外企时，HR通常都会让你做个英语自我介绍，从而来考察你的英语水平。但现在很多不管用不用得到英语的公司，都喜欢要面试者来一段英语自我面试。
除去那些真正需要用到英语的公司，其他的公司之所以要英语自我介绍，是因为这是一种种毫无成本的打击面试者的方法，屡试不爽，又标榜了自己公司的国际化。
本来你还在暗爽面试这个职位绰绰有余，谈薪水可以底气十足，冷不防面试官来了一句，请用英语自我介绍一下，一下子击中要害，怎么哪壶不开提哪壶呢？所以你谈薪水的时候也自知有短板，不敢多要。
这其实是中了面试官避实击虚的奸计。那么求职时遇到需要做英语自我介绍的面试怎么办？
其实只要你准备好一个专业的英语自我介绍，不管别人是真要考察你还是唬你，都能通吃，遇到真正要考察你的面试官，也能让你对你刮目相看。
首先批判一下目前网上和各种英语面试宝典里的模板，我可以负责任的说绝大多数都是垃圾，千篇一律都是教你说自己性格怎么好，非常能够承受压力，有团队合作精神，有什么爱好，家乡来自哪里。
这些纯粹是为了自我介绍而自我介绍，没有任何针对性，而且所谓能力强，能抗压，工作努力，都是主观自我评价，面试官需要的是你实打实的专业能力，并不喜欢听这些没有的，所以这样的自我介绍没有达到沟通信息的目的。
回到本质，英语自我介绍就是传递以下两方面的信息，不要再多了，过犹不及。
1）快速展示自己的英语水平。
2）快速展示出你和该职位的匹配度。
你最终的目的都是让面试官觉得你就是the chosen one!
你说的每句话，要显得你与众不同，才会给人觉得眼前一亮的感觉。
不要用一些烂大街的词汇，用一些地道而新颖的词，体现出你的英语功底，让面试官觉得，哇，这个的英语不得了。
如果全程都是你问我答，这种面试就像和机器人对话一样冷冰冰，对方对你就没有任何情感上的认同，这是很吃亏的。
一定要和面试官建立互动，一开始就要问到面试官的英文名(May I have your name, please?），然后时不时提一下他的名字，比如 Yes, Nancy, that's right。还要主动大量去问问题，也是显示出你对这份工作的兴趣。
也就是说话能够一、二、三分条列出，让人觉得你思路清晰，总结能力强。
还有就是废话少说，自我介绍就是介绍自己和这份工作的符合性，说的任何东西都要以这个为目标，至于兴趣爱好、家乡来自哪里这些没用的信息都不要说了。
1、校园招聘版
1）开头简要介绍教育背景和应聘岗位
Good morning XXX. Thanks for inviting me to meet with you today. My name is Steven. I am from XXX university where I studied mechanical engineering(代替I majored in ）.
I'm applying for the position of mechanical engineer with your company.
2）介绍自己的专业和招聘需求的匹配度
- 如果是专业对口
According to the JD(job description用专业术语，面试官都懂的), this position requires a degree in mechanical engineering and a strong technical background，I think what I studied at school（代替my major）can match your requirement.
Over(代替during) the past 4 years at school, I learned mechanical manufacturing, mechanical design(堆专业的英文名，她肯定听不懂的） with an average GPA of 4.0. I believe these qualifications make me a suitable candidate for this role.
- 如果专业不对口
I read the JD in detail and compared with my background. I believe what's important to the HR position is communication, coordination and organization（根据自己的理解，写认为你最重要的，当然几乎所有非专业性工作最重要的无非就是这三点）.
During my stay at school, I had a lot of exposure to the student and school projects where I needed to communicate with different people, such as ….(负责的学生活动举例，所以你们年轻的时候，要多去主导一个活动，而不是当配角，活动没什么难的，都是桥到船头自然直）. With these experiences, I've gained my extensive insight on how to deal with people.
3）介绍实践经历
On top of that( 代替besides, furthermore, what's more）,earlier this year I also took/had an internship in XXX company. Through this internship I learned a lot of hands-on(代替practical) skills of the professional world( 职场）.
4）收尾
With my previous experience and knowledge I possess, I consider myself a suitable candidate for the position of mechanical engineer at your company. And I'm also excited about （代替interested in）this opporunity and expecting to talk more about it during this interview.

2、社会招聘版
其实更很简单（我不提倡裸辞，所以我下面都是用的一般现在时，如果是裸辞就改为过去式），重点在介绍自己的工作内容。
你就只要把自己的工作内容分一二三几点说出来就好了。
1）开头简要介绍教育背景和应聘岗位
Good morning XXX. Thanks for inviting me to meet with you today. My name is Steven. I graduated from XXX University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2）介绍自己应聘什么职位
- 如果是HR或者猎头找上门来的。
I read the JD(job description用专业术语，HR都懂的), it seems that you are looking for a XXX. And I am also a XXX at XXX company.
- 如果你是自己主动投简历的：
I'm applying for the position of XXX with your company.
3）介绍一下自己的工作背景和招聘要求的匹配度
According to the JD, this job requires experience on XXX（提炼几个核心的要点，分一二三列出来). And my current responsibility also involves XXX , which includes 3 major parts（不管怎么样，都要分成几方面说，哪怕真的只有一部分，你也要分成几部分说，这样才能显示出你的条理）

The third part is XXX
4）收尾
This is all what I'm currently doing and hopfully it could be close to what you are looking for. I would appreciate it if you share more specifics about this job such as, what ….? (反问问题，针对你想知道的工作内容提问，把球踢给面试官，不要让他有机会问你问题）
